The training center is strategically located in Saint Louis, Senegal, 15 km from the old city, which has a unique historical charm and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Saint Louis is also in the Senegal river valley, which is the main rice growing region of Senegal.
The center is a valuable tool for the region in order to modernize the rice sector and transform the life of rural communities. The center is open to all research and development partners of AfricaRice and can be rented by them.
